Featured book

A Few Oranges for Sissy

In "A Few Oranges for Sissy", set after the Greek Civil War, we follow Sissy, the daughter of political refugees in Fieri, Albania, as she and her family flee to Greece after the murder of her father. Sissy grows up in state institutions for children run by then-Queen Frederica, where she blossoms into a young and highly reactionary teenager and eventually becomes a prostitute and brothel owner.
